Indrit Ago Biography

Indrit is a founding partner of TIFFAS and a full-time Lecturer at the University of Tirana. Indrit graduated as one of the five best students of his generation in 2010 with an Integrated Second Level Degree in Finance-Accounting from the University of Tirana, and later in 2013 with a master’s degree in Accounting and Audit.

He became a Certified Accountant in Albania in 2014, and in 2015 together with his business partner founded TIFFAS. Indrit is a member of Institute of Certified Accountants (IKM) in Albania, which is a member of IFAC. Since 2016, Indrit has been part of many international projects related to investments in water supply utilities and urban waste management in Albania as a financial expert, offering his expertise in financial modeling, financial statements analyses, affordability analyses, financing gap analyses, customer care management, etc.

Since 2019 he is a full time Lecturer at the Faculty of Tirana, Accounting Department, in the subjects of Advanced Financial Accounting and Financial Accounting. In 2021 Indrit became a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK and has also started Doctoral studies as a PhD candidate with research focused on “Sustainability Financial Reporting”.

From 2023 he is engaged as a trainer of national (SKK) and international accounting
standards (IAS, IFRS) at IKM. Driven by his passion for accounting and taxes, besides his education and certification as an accountant, Indrit always asks for more through continuous learning, as he thinks this is the best way of providing the optimal solution for the clients. He has assisted Albanian and international clients with accounting services, consultancy services on investments, audit services, consultancy services on different fiscal matters, training on accounting standards and fiscal legislation, etc. His areas of focus include manufacturing, professional services, mining, intermediaries, retail, construction, etc.
